M&S stops own furniture deliveries; shifts focus to smaller items

High street retailer Marks & Spencer (M&S) has ceased deliveries of its own large furniture range and will only focus on smaller items.

The retailer is stopping any and all deliveries of bulky items from its own furniture range from this week but added that the whole range is not ending.

This follows its earlier announcement that it is discontinuing its own brand made-to-order bespoke furniture back in April.

Moving forward, M&S has decided to focus on online sales in collaboration with third-party brands. Items phased out include bulkier products such as beds, sofas and wardrobes.

M&S will still offer smaller furniture items, including accent chairs, side tables and coffee tables, as part of its core in-store range.
