Fashion and furnishings retailer Next has revealed plans to open a new store in Essex this month.

Situated at the Southend Airport Retail Park in Rochford, the new store takes over the vacant and former Oak Furnitureland site and will officially open on 31 July 2024.

The new store will create around 36 jobs for the local area and is currently undergoing refit works in preparation for the opening.

Next said: “We can confirm that the new Next store at Southend Airport Retail Park will open on Wednesday July 31.”
