Office chair supplier maintains turnover growth

Office furniture manufacturer Pledge Office Chairs has reported a growth in turnover.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 May 2023, total sales rose 12.5% to £14m from £12.4m in 2022.

Pre-tax profit resulted at £485,000, down from its profit of £746,000 recorded in the previous year.

Stated within its report, the company, which specialises in wooden, steel and upholstered seating, said: “2023 has proved to be another year of growth as we continue to recover following the Covid pandemic.

“We have added to our portfolio launching three new ranges. Gross profit margins have held up well in spite of rising costs in fuel and salaries.”
