Carpet designer and manufacturer Burmatex has reported a slight growth in sales.
According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 December 2024, total sales rose 0.4% to £21.2m from £21.1m in 2023.
UK sales were up 0.6% to £16.3m from £16.2m, while export revenues remained flat at £4.8m.
Burmatex, part of the AIREA Floor Coverings Group, recorded a pre-tax profit of £683,000, down from £1.7m against the previous year.
Stated within its report, the company said that operating return on sales was 4.1%, down from 8.7%, while working capital to sales percentage was 58.9% compared to 21.5% year-on-year.
