British luxury homeware brand, Rowen Homes, has partnered for the first time with TV star, Rylan Clark, to share an insight into his new bedroom transformation.
Rylan, known for his work on This Morning and Eurovision, has followed the homeware brand for a while and has just unveiled his bedroom revamp with Rowen Homes to his 1.6 million instagram followers.
Rylan said: “I am SO obsessed with my new bedroom from Rowen. I can’t believe this is actually my home, I feel like I’ve walked into a 5-star hotel room! The headboard is so beautiful and I absolutely love how they have styled all the pieces together. The black accents are very me, they got everything spot on, I’m so excited for everyone to see it!”
After an initial design visit, Rowen’s interior designers worked with Rylan to bring his dream vision to life. The design sees a more masculine take on the neutral interiors Rowen is known for, with trending black accents for a premium, Kensington inspired look.
Rosie McDonnell, Rowen Homes Interior Designer, said: “Rylan is known for his big personality and hilarious one liners, but we wanted to create a calm, premium space that reflects his own, masculine style. We often see Rylan in his tailored, monochrome outfits, which is exactly what we wanted for his bedroom. A sophisticated, luxurious space.
“Seeing Rylan’s reaction was the highlight of the project, and he has been an absolute joy to work with along the way – we never stopped laughing! The whole process has been so fun, designing a space that is full of beautiful, cream fabrics and stunning black accents, we wanted to create a sleek yet cosy bedroom, from the gorgeous cushions to a new wow statement headboard.”
Rosie has also shared her top tips for re-creating the luxury look. “The black accent look will work with most neutral colour schemes, so it’s an easy way to give your space an instant, luxury facelift. Adding hints of black into your scheme is a timeless way to add wow factor to your space.
“If you’re looking to save, you can level up your bedroom on a budget by upgrading your cushions. We opted for a set of cream velvet cushions with contrasting black fringe detailing for a statement feel. When styling your cushions, style three standard cushions with two bolsters at the front for a seamless formation. Plus, opt for feather filled for that all-important “chopped” look.
“If you’re looking to splurge, the star of the show as always is our amazing, statement headboards. For Rylan’s bedroom, we designed a brand new headboard, featuring a sumptuous cream velvet fabric with multi-tiled detailing and black framing. The ultra-tall headboard transforms the space into a hotel style master suite!”
