Sales and profit fall at office furniture maker

Office furniture manufacturer Elite has reported a decline in sales and profit.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 January 2024, total sales fell 11% to £23.4m from £26.3m in 2023.

Pre-tax profit resulted at £4.8m, down from £7.1m recorded the previous year.

Stated within its report, the company generated all sales from the UK, with no exports compared to the prior year. Exports in 2023 attributed to £0.7m of revenues.
