Contract furniture and lighting group Steeple has reported a decline in turnover and profit.
According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 December 2023, total sales fell 7.2% to £24.4m from £26.3m in 2022.
Pre-tax profit resulted at £1.1m, down from £1.7m recorded the previous year.
Stated within its report, the group said its core lighting division saw sales dip 8.6% to £20.1m from £22m, while office furniture sales rose 8.3% to £3.9m from £3.6m.
UK sales declined to £12.4m from £13.6m, while export sales decreased to £12m from £12.7m.
Steeple Group is the holding company for a number of trading businesses including Eterna Lighting, Eterna Ireland, Protocol Furniture, R&S Robertson and Tibelec.
