Sales expert joins Kleen-Tex as firm’s UK expansion ramps up

A sales expert with over 30 years’ experience working with some of Europe’s biggest brands has joined growing mat maker Kleen-Tex.

Jane Wright has been appointed UK Sales Manager (North and Midlands) at Kleen-Tex, which recently announced it was launching its flagship wash+dry brand in the UK.

It’s a big statement of intent from Kleen-Tex, whose UK headquarters are in Warrington, with Jane hoping to grow and diversify the company’s customer base.

Having worked for international brands such as Fred Perry, Kappa, and 11 Degrees, Jane will now spearhead the brand’s growth in both the Midlands and North of England.

She said: “Joining Kleen-Tex now just feels like the perfect opportunity. I began my career on the shop floor and have worked my way up from account management to key account management. So I truly understand the value of strong customer relationships. I enjoy the balance of working alongside both the independent businesses and the major retailers.

“It’s an ambitious, fast-growing brand with a great reputation, and its investment in the UK is a real statement of intent. I’m excited to be part of a talented team and to help drive our expansion across the North and Midlands, introducing more customers to the quality and innovation that set Kleen-Tex apart.”

Kleen-Tex, which also sells its popular Turtle Mat product in the UK, is well established in the US, South America, Asia and across Europe, and is now focused on further growing its UK footprint.

A keen cyclist, hiker and walker, Tarporley-based Jane has also worked with firms across the world, from Australia to European countries like Italy, France, Germany, and the Netherlands.

She added: “Kleen-Tex offers something exciting and stylish – a great match for my background. After many years in the fashion industry, I feel ready for a new challenge, and this opportunity was simply too good to pass up.

“There’s real potential here to expand into new sectors like outdoor and footwear, which makes it an exciting next step, both for the business, and for me personally.”
