The UK division of US mattress manufacturer Sealy has reported an increase in sales as losses narrowed.
According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 30 June 2024, total sales rose 23.8% to £26.5m from £21.4m in 2023.
Pre-tax losses amounted to £3.6m, narrowing significantly from a loss of £7.6m recorded in the previous year.
Stated within its account report, the company said: “New product launches were successfully introduced during the second half of last year and the company has continued to expand on these levels during this financial year.
“The new product ranges utilise unique proprietary spring technology and the directors and management are focussed on using this to drive revenue and profit growth to improve the company’s performance.
“The company has benefitted from increased sales as a result in the 2024/25 financial year.”
