Sofas, flooring and furniture retailer ScS has announced a short delay in publishing its full year preliminary results as it needed more time to finalise the accounts.

In a brief statement, ScS confirmed that it will announce its audited preliminary results for the 52 weeks ended 29 July 2023 on 25 October 2023, extending the date from 10 October.

“The results preparation process is substantially complete, but the Board has concluded that a short delay is required for finalisation,” ScS said.

“The Group’s Full Year Results will be in line with the full year trading update, as announced on 3 August 2023. Apart from the short delay, the year-end process has been as expected and the Board has no concerns whatsoever in this regard and is confident that the Full Year Results will be concluded and published within the new timeframe.”
