Upholstery manufacturer Tetrad has paid recognition to a long serving employee who has now retired after almost 50 years.

Richard Swindells, a D&D upholsterer, has entered the Tetrad record books as the second longest serving member of staff after confirming his retirement.

In a social post, Tetrad paid tribute to Richard: “After 49.5 years of loyal service, we wished a happy retirement to D&D upholsterer Richard Swindells. Thank you for sharing your expertise, wisdom and sense of humour.

“You will be greatly missed at Tetrad. A huge congratulations and a job well done. Happy Retirement and enjoy your day out at the cricket!”
