Upholstery manufacturer grows sales and profit

Upholstery manufacturer Lebus has reported another strong year of sales as turnover climbed towards to £50m.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 December 2023, total sales rose 3.5% to £47.4m from £45.8m in 2022.

Pre-tax profit resulted at £2m, up 152% from £804,000 recorded the previous year. Margin improved from 26.4% to 30.9%.

Stated within its report, the company said: “A strong orderbook, a stabilisation of supplier prices and improved efficiencies meant an increase in turnover, with margin percentage increasing to 30.9%.”
