Flooring distributor TradeChoice Carpet & Flooring has reported a growth in sales as turnover surpassed £100m.
According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 December 2022, total sales rose 14% to £102.6m from £87.6m in 2021.
Pre-tax profit resulted at £0.8m, up from £0.2m recorded in the previous year.
Stated within its report, the company, which is part of the Nestware Holdings group – also owner of retailer Carpetright, said: “2022 saw a return to ‘business as usual’ with regards to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the business was fully open throughout the period.
“Year-on-year sales were up 14.6%, with a strong margin performance, along with the efficiency of scale saw EBITDA grow by 22%.
“During the period the company changed its name to Tradechoice Distribution and is now trading under the name of ‘TradeChoice Carpet & Flooring. The rebranding better reflects the company’s commitment to their core base of trade customers.”
The period the business invested within its digital offering, which culminated in the launch of a fully transactional website in March 2023.
