The Roost expands categories with ‘Antiques’ offer

Furnishings planning platform, The Roost, has announced the introduction of a new ‘Antiques’ category to its growing portfolio.

“Sourcing antique furniture and vintage accessories can feel like a laborious task,” the company said. “Often homeowners struggle to know where to start, or what to look for, and spend time trawling antiques markets or second hand sites looking for inspiration.”

Realising a gap in the furniture market, The Roost has decided to champion shopping preloved and is now home to a number of antique and vintage dealers in the UK. Joining over 60 artisan brands is Vantage Living, Bull + Tash, Stowaway London, Cart-House and Pato Interiors.

Will Plowden, The Roost Founder, said: “Customers want to buy good quality items which are made to last, and they don’t always want to buy brand new. That’s why we’ve introduced an Antiques section to the website where customers can now by second-hand gems. We know that ‘new’ isn’t for everyone, and that pre-loved items must ooze quality and be built to last.

“We’re proud to be working with some of the best dealers in the UK whose high standards align with our principles of connecting individuals with unique, quality artisan brands such as Vantage Living, Cart-House, Bull + Tash, Pato Interiors and Stowaway London, this section will continue to grow as we source more vintage specialists and dealers to bring you the very best in one place.”
