Flooring specialist opens Dubai showroom

AIREA plc, the UK design-led specialist flooring company, supplying both the UK and international markets, has announced the opening of a sales showroom in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The Group is increasing its focus on growing international sales and has identified Dubai as its strategic hub to serve the Middle East. Economic confidence in the region has remained strong despite global headwinds.

This local presence will enable the Group to build on its current market position in the region and capitalise on the rapid expansion of the commercial flooring sector within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, the MEA region and India.

Growth in these markets is supported by ongoing infrastructure development and an emphasis on sustainable building practices. The Group’s high-quality carbon-neutral and low-carbon product ranges will provide sustainable and innovative solutions to commercial and educational sectors.

The Group’s showroom is located in Al Quoz, a vibrant and diverse area in western Dubai known for its unique blend of industrial zones and artistic spaces, including commerce, architects and interior designers.

Médéric Payne, Chief Executive Officer of AIREA plc, commented: “The Group’s growth strategy is underpinned by our pursuit of new global export markets and the opening of our Dubai showroom enhances our presence across the GCC, MEA regions and India.

“Dubai serves as a major centre for prestigious commercial and residential developments, providing a significant opportunity for the Group to drive sales growth of our successful carbon-neutral products and the increasing demand for our low-carbon ranges. Burmatex® is a prominent ‘Made in the UK’ British brand and manufacturer with a rich history of providing global customers with innovative, sustainable flooring solutions. We are confident of delivering sustained growth across these regions.”
