Bensons for Beds moves into two new stores

Bed retailer Bensons for Beds is opening two new stores in December, relocating to a new store in Romford, Greater London, and opening in Cannock, Staffordshire.

Bensons for Beds is moving to a new home on the Gallows Corner Retail Park in Romford. It is opening a 5,650sq ft store on the mezzanine floor of the Natuzzi Editions furniture store at Unit 1, Gallows Corner, on Friday 9 December.

Bensons is also making a return to Cannock where it is opening a new 3,444 sq ft store at Unit 10c on the Orbital Retail Park on Friday 16 December. The new store is close to the former Bensons store which closed in June.

To mark Cannock’s opening, Bensons will be rolling out its iconic purple carpet to welcome visitors. On 12 December, Bensons is relaunching its store at Cardiff Gate Retail Park, North Pentwyn, Cardiff, following a refit.

At all three stores, customers will be offered an additional 10% off items bought over the opening weekends.

The investment in stores in December follows the opening and relocation of 16 stores since the start of December 2021, including Inverness, Didcot, Yeovil, Worcester, Waterlooville and Stirling since June. By the end of this year, Bensons will have 168 stores across Britain.

The new stores have been designed to showcase the wide range of beds and mattresses on offer from top brands including Slumberland, Staples & Co, iGel, Tempur and Silentnight, so that customers can choose the right bed for them to help them get a good night’s sleep.

Bensons’ chief customer officer, Frankie Haynes, said: “We’re looking forward to opening our new stores in Romford and Cannock and showing off our new-look Cardiff store where we can show the best of what Bensons for Beds has to offer.

“We’ve been investing in expanding and updating our store estate and customers really like our new-look stores where they can see our full ranges and get all the help they need to make the right choice of bed and mattress so they can get the best night’s sleep possible.”
